9 Wonderful Reminders To Keep You Going Even If Life Gets Hard

keep going

You are not necessarily looking at your life through a pink len.

Because there are so many things in your life which are completely out of your control. No matter how tight you hold on, things still slip through for fingers. No matter how much you push yourself over and over again, you cannot meet the expectation of yourself. Even if you tiptoe to get through your day, something would go down south eventually.

Yes, life has up and down. But it is also the reason why it is so exciting and colorful.

And you know what, most successful and wisest people that you’ve ever known are likely to feel the same way you are right now.

But they’ve made it through. And they get stronger after times.

What you see in them right now is the result of constant learning and development.

If you want to end up the same way they did, here are 9 wonderful reminders that can help you to keep going and pushing through the hardest times.

1. Mistakes and failures are the best teachers in the world

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. You learn a lot in life. But the most important and memorable ones are from your mistakes and failures.

You feel upset and frustrated when things don’t go your way. But if everything is in the perfect place, you will never try anything and you will never know how talented you are.

2. Without pain and suffering, success doesn’t feel so good

Imagine if your life is perfect since day one. Everything you’ve needed is displayed in front of you. What’s more, people try to give you more and more amazing things, you are so caught up with those great stuff that you don’t even have time to ask yourself what you really need.

What would you feel then?

Are you going to feel joyful, excited and happy for every good day you have? Or you will end up feeling numb and just wander around through life with no purpose?

Remember, you only know how to feel good because you’ve felt bad before. You only know how to cherish the sun after a long rainy day. You only remember to value ordinary things in your life after you lost them all.

Don’t be afraid of pain and suffer, because without them success is meaningless.

3. You don’t have to worry about your past or your future

You might feel like your life is too hard because of your own past experience. But it doesn’t mean life will repeat itself in the future. All of those assumptions are from you.

The thing is, most of the stuff you are worrying right now don’t even exist. Even if they do, you cannot do anything if you just worry about them.

Only your present makes sense. Stop dwelling on the past or living on the fantasy of your future.

If you want to create the life you deserve, you have to plant the seed today.

4. You only live for yourself

Your life doesn’t matter to other people. They cannot bear your burden. They cannot enjoy the fun for you. They cannot change your life if you don’t want to.

Stop worrying about what other people might think. Stop worrying about your impression toward people.

Live your life for yourself. Like you mean it.

5. Stop trying to change the things you have no control over

Most people don’t feel happy these days because they don’t focus on changing the thing they can control, but they spend time worrying about the stuff they cannot change.

Have you ever felt so nervous that you don’t want to go anywhere just because you think other people hate you? Or did you feel so sad and upset when thinking about the stupid things you said today in the staff meeting?

You can beat yourself up but you cannot change anything.

But beating yourself up costs energy. You will be better off if you use that energy into good use.

6. Your life might not be perfect. But you always have something to thank for.

You might believe or even convince yourself that your life is doom.

It’s might be when you got fired from your job, or your partner just broke up with you. You felt like your whole world collapsed and you just needed a lot of wine to soothe the pain.

But before you decide to fall into your depression world, let me remind you that you have so many things to feel thankful for.

Your friend, your dream, your family...are the reason.

If you still struggle, here’s a suggestion: “50 tiny things to be thankful for every day”.

7. You still have people who love you for yourself

I know you’ve wished to be someone else but you. More than one time.

Because you can escape from your brutal reality and have a better life. You think you are not worthy and you are unlovable.

But that’s not true.

You have family, friends and yourself. They are the people who love you for yourself. Even if you can offer them one million dollars they would never trade you for someone else.

No matter how messed up you think you are, you are loved.

8. Everything is temporary. This too shall pass.

Nothing is permanent. All the joy and fun will pass. So will all the pain and sufferings.

One day you will look back at this moment, and thank yourself for doing a great work, for pushing through the day and for learning life lessons so quickly, for those you can use in your future.

9. Many people have made it through. And so can you.

You are unique. But you are not special. Sorry to say that.

Many people have been in similar situations, or even worse situations. But they’ve made it through. And that’s the exact thing that differentiate them from the crowd.

You want to be somebody, you want to be that person? You have to be willing to do things that most people will give up.

You are stronger than you thought. Just stop looking at the mountain top and start climbing.

What doesn’t come easily doesn’t go easily.

I am a firm believer of the whole “whatever comes easily goes easily”. I don’t believe in luck. I don’t believe in lottery.

I believe in working hard to follow my passion and watch my life transform everyday.

I don’t wish for an easy life where things are given to my in a silver plate. Because I believe life’s greatest gift is the fact that it is difficult sometimes, that it has up and down, that it has sunny day and rainy day. Because without those difficult situations, we have no room to grow.

We get stronger and stronger everyday by going through our lives.

And you are strong enough for every possible life challenge.

“You can summit every mountain, if you keep climbing.”

    Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Keep up the good work on your blog.

    Regards

Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely
long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and
say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but
I’m still new to everything. Do you have any suggestions
for newbie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.

Thank you! I appreciate your reading. I guess the only suggestion I have for now is to focus on helping others. That’s what I do every time I write a new post.
